That’s the big difference. I wish I had been, I wouldn’t have gone to Fiji. I would have bought Fiji if I was on a percentage of the money they made out of me. So therefore I’ve taken that particular concept and I’ve used it in different ways over the years for different businesses. This one beats everything. What happens here is that the travel business that I partnered with has negotiated with all of these resorts an incredibly low price based on the fact that they know these resorts are sitting at around about 70% occupancy these days, you see, because of Airbnb and the fact that Expedia and Trivago and all those places basically control the hotels these days.

They don’t fill all the rooms. Most hotels run at about 70% occupancy. So they’ve got 30% of their rooms empty tonight. It might be different at Christmas time, but pretty much right throughout the year, they’ve got 30% of the rooms empty. So this particular company that I partnered with, they’ve actually said to them, look, how about we pay a very small amount for those rooms? And then what we’ll do is market them into programs like this. And what the hotel and resort benefit from of course is people spending money on food and beverage. So generally speaking, if someone goes to a hotel for free, you think about it. They generally spend more at the cafe and the restaurant. Cocktails around the pool or room service, because they’ve got the room for free and that’s where the hotel wins. So it’s really a win-win, it’s a win for the hotel.

It’s to win for you as a business. And of course it’s a win for your consumer. So I guess, without sounding too corny, it’s a win/win/win. And that’s it, simple as that. I know what you’re thinking of that is, hang on, hang on. Is there a timeshare presentation here? I can see the thought bubble above your head. No, there’s not a timeshare presentation, these resorts, they’ve got nothing at all to do with timeshare. They’re just filling empty rooms with hopefully hungry and thirsty people who are going to buy food and buy drink at the hotel whilst they’re there. Now there’s a whole range of options that we have. The only other stuff that comes near appealing to men and women of all ages is probably a movie ticket or something like that, or fuel discounts, but there’s no way that they would compete with this. I know. I’ve tried them. So there’s no way that they compete with this in terms of wow factor.

So look, we’ve been using Facebook and LinkedIn to market to businesses, and we’ve been doing pretty well. In fact, this last month has been our record month in sales. So I can imagine what the period leading through summer’s going to be like for us, because everyone’s thinking about holidays, particularly those people who have come out of states where there’s been a lockdown or border closure.

We figured, look okay outside of Facebook and LinkedIn, where’s another avenue that we could find business owners? Well, just make sense. Business coaches like yourself, business consultants. So they’re giving away the room revenue in the hope that they’ll make money out of food and beverage. It’s as simple as that. It’s very, very easy to understand.

In terms of terms and conditions, around about probably 40 of the 52 weeks a year, people will be able to get in because they don’t have unsold rooms during school holidays. That’s a given. I mean, we all know that, and there are fees and taxes. There’s booking fees and taxes of $29.95 per night, but that goes with everything. Okay. So the prime minister wants his tax. He doesn’t care whether the Hilton hotel gives away four nights with holidays, if it were rooms, I should say. If those rooms are worth $250 or $300 a night, obviously he’s going to put his hand up and say look, I want my tax. We can’t pay other people’s taxes, so there is a $29.95 tax per night multiplied by four nights.

Look, terms and conditions and any FAQ’s, again, we’ve been very transparent. Just click the links below, and you’ll see exactly what that is. If you ask most business owners, do they want conversion assistance or do they need help with leads, they’d probably say leads. Because if you’re a business owner, you’re probably pretty confident about your closing rate, whether it’s one in two, or one in three, or one in five, or one in 10, whatever it might be, you’ve got your own conversion statistics up here, which you probably are reasonably comfortable with, but you need a bucket more leads.

Well, you know what? This particular concept that we have here, I think is probably the most powerful leads generation machine that I’ve ever seen. Now, I’m involved with it, so maybe I’m a little bit biased, but it is. It’s quite a spectacular leads generator.

How it works is very simple. You just run a contest on Facebook, and we actually provide you with the prize, or prizes I should say, for that contest. So, you run a one month contest on Facebook. You determine what you want to spend a day, whether it’s 30 or 40 or $50 a day on Facebook, that’s entirely up to you, but we do everything else for you. Essentially, we put together the ad, we put together the landing page, and we make sure that we manage the campaign for you.

So, this particular concept is all about creating avalanche leads. And if you asked anyone at the moment, what did they want, what was the major want that a general public person would want at this time? Would it be a lawn mower? Would it be a refrigerator? Would it be a microwave oven? Or would it be a holiday? I bet you they’d all vote holiday. We’ve all been cooped up inside at one stage or another, and we want to escape. We want people who would love a swimming pool, and have a backyard, and again, they own their home. So, you get the drift of this, all right?

You’ll see how powerful it is by looking just at a case study below for a particular company that looks after pretty high end cookware. Just have a look at the number of leads they got, and the conversion they got. It’s quite spectacular. I think it was 893 leads in the space of one month, so therefore this particular promotion runs for a month. You’ll want to run it forever, once you see what happens in the month, but it runs for a month in terms of the package that we’ve put together.

And have a look, he got 893 leads at $2.38 a lead. Now, they’re selling a $2,600, I think it is, package. Can you imagine how happy that person is? I mean, I’m not going to disclose what their close rate is, but even if it was one in 10, 10 times $2.38, and you’re making a $2500 sale for 23 odd dollars. I think that’s a pretty good return on investment.

It’s really very clever, if I do say so myself. Yes, I’ve been involved in designing it. I’ve been involved in contests, and sweepstakes, and scratch bingos, and all sorts of things for a gazillion years. And you’ll see on the screen at the moment, just a sampling of the sort of stuff that I have been involved in. I’ve provided all the bingo games for News Limited, and for Fairfax, and for magazines, and for TV networks, and radio stations. The stuff that I was employed to do as a consultant for these big, big businesses, including the likes of McDonald’s and KFC and other fast food chains, was to create avalanche leads. That’s what they want. They want avalanche leads. In fact, I have a book which I’ve titled The Avalanche Leads Formula, and it includes this sort of thing.

So, I’ve been around the track for a little while, doing all of these contests, and I’ve got to say to you that my clients have only been overwhelmed with the sort of quick response that we get. This is all about what we call direct response marketing, giving you a quick response. Because we know that you want food on the table tomorrow, not sponsoring the Brisbane Broncos or the Essendon football team for the next two or three years and building your brand up. There’s nothing wrong with that, if you’ve got deep pockets, by the way. But most businesses that we’re talking to say to me, “Look, can we get something really quick on social media, that’s going to bring home the bacon tomorrow?” And in my opinion, this is it.

What happens is that when people do come through the landing page, they answer the prequalification questions so that you’ve got a warm list that you can then follow up. You hold a weekly draw. We run this for four weeks, okay? So, therefore, you run a weekly draw. We give you four of these luxury holidays to give away. Have a look below, you’ll see that they’re all four-star hotels. The reason that we’ve been able to provide this to you is because we have an exclusive arrangement with these hotels.

We’re talking Rydges, and we’re talking Novotels, and we’re talking Oaks and we’re talking Mantras, they’re four-star hotels, they’re not a caravan park.
